Visiting Good Friends

Dallas coming out of the water slide.
Pioneer Days Parade. After the parade we went to the park and Dallas and Baylee rode on this ride that turns you around really fast. It was hilarous to watch them.

I was so proud of Dallas and Baylee for climbing the rock wall. They made it to the top and hit the button.

Haddy on the jumping slide.

Me and Jessica all dressed up to go to Wal-Mart! The truth is with 6 girls including a baby you learn to do your hair the night before-it was church in the morning
I have been planning this trip for a long time to visit my good friend. We met when I was pregnant with Dallas and our oldest girls are the same age and have been best friends since they were babies. We now have 4 years olds also the same age. We had so much fun and ended up staying up every night until about 3:30 in the morning talking. We never run out of things to talk about. Jessica's mom is an awesome cook. I got some really good recipes and have already planned my menu so I can make them for my family next week. I learn so much from Jessica. She is such a great mom and wife. Her mom Lynn was so much fun and was such a great hostess to feed us so well and let us come and stay in her new beautiful home! She also makes the best body scrub and the cutest night gowns. We all had a wonderful time. Thanks so much Jessica! I hope we can do it again.
Matt and Jabin went camping and fishing with the boys. Sorry I don't have pictures. They would of been great to see!
Payge and Haddy

We heard a knock at the door and this little boy was at the door with his Lama, it was so funny. He came back later with a whole bunch of lama hair he thought the girls might like.
Cute girls headed to the pool

Making smores on the patio. On Saturday night a big wind came up and blew the patio table into the railing and broke some of the tiles. I think Berry almost had the little pieces put back together with Taytum's help-she is good at puzzles.

I should of got pictures of the girls playing the Wii. This was my first experience with the Wii and it was so much fun. Very cute Wii people!!

Me and my friend Mel
Melody was on her way to Salt Lake and called on her way through. I was so excited that she had time to stop and meet. We got to visit at the park while the girls played in the creek. It was so good to see you Mel! Love ya!

Jessica took the girls on a wild ride on the 4-Wheeler or so they say..Dallas said "your mom is a crazy driver" and Baylee said "you should see her in the car".

At Grandee's Ice Cream Shop. They had the best mango sherbet.

Haddy and Payge in one of their several poses. They really had fun posing for the camera. They were so cute together.

The green show at the Shakespearean Festival.

This was our good bye-until next time! Thanks so much for everything Trinidad Girls and Lynn and Berry!

Ward Camp '08

We had a great time at the Ward Camp! The weather was beautiful!
We took a hike up the canyon looking for frogs that the young women had found a week earlier. We didn't find any frogs but Dallas spotted a bunch of wild strawberries and the flowers were so pretty!

The little girls decided to catch a ride back from the hike instead of walk.
Matt trying to get Buster (Our German Short Hair)to go on a paddle boat ride.

The kids had glow-in-the dark things in their mouths which you can't tell in this picture but I love their big smiles.

Looking for frogs.
Haddy in the wild flowers.Roastin' Smores

Jabin's Whopper! I think he was pulling a face because the fish was still flopping around. We turned it back after the picture.

Happy Birthday Matt

This is my tribute to Matt for his birthday. I thought this would be funny to do this look alike meter because I always tell Matt that Patrick Swayze reminds me of him. I also think Harrison Ford does.

The cute little guy in the picture above is Matt's photo that won the Cutest Baby Contest. Isn't he so cute and he still is!

I love you Matt and want to thank you for being a great husband and father! Happy Birthday!

Fourth of July '08

The Fourth of July started with a 5K Fun Run for me and and my sister-in-law Julia. It was awesome! Julia was home for the weekend from New York, it was so good to see her. She always brings fun goodies or souvenirs for the kids. The kids think it is christmas when they get postcards from New York :)

After the race we hurried to get ready for the parade. Haddy got to ride on Kathy's float in the parade but as she went by we could tell she wasn't very happy she was telling me to make sure we got her some candy. I don't think she liked the idea of throwing the candy to other people :)
The horse races are so fun in Richfield on the fourth and this year they were better then ever! Dallas spent the whole time with the announcer answering questions and she even got to pick the cooler (of money) winner out of the hat and the winner gave her $5. She bought lots of braclets at the jewelery stand. Matt's pretty good at picking the winners at the races. He says to never bet against the greys and he was right, they did pretty well.

After the races Marianne does a big barbeque for all the friends and family. Thanks again Marianne for your delicious food and all your hard work! Grandma and Grandpa Greaves were also down for the weekend which is always a treat. Grandma came with us to watch the fireworks show. It was soooo long but pretty. The big show was good but our little show, in the driveway, made me remember that I don't like fireworks that well, they are to loud and I hated the kids being old enough to light them and play with them-I'm turning into such a mom :) Matt, Marcus and I went on a horse ride up Daniel's Canyon on Saturday while the kids rode Grandpa's 4-Wheeler around the yard. The trail was called the bucket trail,(I even saw the bucket on the trail). Badger had a spill and Matt hurt his elbows but it was a great ride.We got to see Tim and Sharon's cabin and visit with them. We did get rained on on the way home so we had to get out our slickers. We also had to break into the truck because the keys got locked inside, your awesome honey :) We got Matt a Father's Day card with Indiana Jones on the front. It played the theme song and said, "To a Father who is good in just about any situation" and it is so true. Matt is so handy and can fix anything!
