I had to laugh because after school on Friday Haddy said "we are trashing the ant costume." Then she proceeded to tell Dallas and Jabin how I always make something weird and put it on her and take pictures. I know she liked the rodeo clown barrel last year though. I better start thinking for next year ;)...

Happy Halloween 2009
This year I wanted to make the kids black ants. But, with my busy schedule, I ended up making only one ant costume. Dallas and Jabin wanted to do their own costumes. Hadden didn't like her ant costume but I convinced her to wear it to the parade. The picture of her crying is from when I told her she wouldn't be changing into her Stephanie costume before we left for school. It was to skimpy of an outfit and it was freezing on Friday. Luckily it was nicer on Saturday and she wore the Stephanie, from Lrazy Town, costume for the carnival. I realized how big my kids were getting when they decorated their pumpkins all by themselves(although they did wish dad was there to help) and wanted to make up their own costumes and did their own makeup. I think they will think twice about the makup next year after they found out how hard it is to scrub off for church the next morning....Jabin wore his rodeo clown costume to the parade and Dallas said she was a gypsy. But after everyone told her she looked like a Zombie she decided to play up the Zombie thing with even more makeup for the carnival and convinced Jabin to do the same... The kids wanted me to dress up so I put Matt's bike gear on. It was so comfortable (except for the riding boots). I even went through the school spook alley with Hadden. To my suprise their was a cardboard box tunnel you had to crawl through. I was laughing trying to get through it with the motorcycle boots on, but was pretty impressed with the spooks. Fun Fun, I am just so glad Halloween is over and I am loving the time change.

Some of the things we did this Summer
Okay, this is a start. I have more pictures I want to post but am out of time for now. We are headed into The Lakes next weekend to finish out our summer fun and I hope I can get some posts up along with the rest of the summer pictures.
On the 24th of July we got to visit my family in Monticello. I love Monticello and have so many good memories with my cousin Sidney. I ran in the 5K and got 3rd place in my age group. It was a higher elevation, about 8,000 feet so it was a little challenging but good training for the 10K I did the following weekend at 10,000 feet. I thought I got 3rd place again but when the paper came out it turns out I got 1st place in my age group 26-39. Yeah!! I was so excited. I have to tell my friends Rachel and Bekah that that was for them because I didn't commit to the Marathon this year but I am trying to stay in shape so maybe someday........

Tim and Sid took us out on their awesome new boat. Thanks so much Tim, it was a fast trip but it was so fun. I even did a little cliff jumping again...he he. Matt said he hasn't seen my legs shake that bad since I rode the 500 up Sand Mountain.
Me and my favorite cousin Sidney. Our girls are the same age and it was so fun to see them together, it brought back lots of memories for us.

In July we had fun with friends at Fish Lake, fishing, boating, 4-wheelers and fireworks. The kids didn't like trolling as much as I did, I love to relax in the water but they got a little antsy. Our friend Doug was so nice to let us use his boat.

Time Flys when your having fun. In June we had a little reunion with Matt's family. The kids had so much fun swimming and playing with cousins. Aunt Julia was in from New York and heading to Colorodo. It was fun to see her. This is Matt's whole family minus Jabin, Dallas, and Yates who were still in the stream/mud.
Our summer vacation with the girls. I got to take my girls down to Cedar again to visit my good friend and her girls from Vegas. It was so fun to catch up and of course I got some great tips and recipes including yummy tempura vegtables. We got to see Comedy of Errors and Secret Garden the musical which was so beautiful. Thanks again for the great weekend Lynn and Berry! Love ya Jessica and girls!

It's Summer Time
I know these pictures are late but I have had camera drama, again!!! This is Haddy's little Busy Bee Preschool graduation. She was an elephant and knew her part so well. Dallas had her end of the year third grade program and it was awesome! They did some really fun dances and songs. She loved her teacher and still cries when you mention her name. The last day of school was pretty tough. She is keeping a journal of all the things she wants to tell Mrs. Worthington that happened over the summer. Teachers are such neat people!!
Dallas also had her summer hula recital. They did such a great job and the girls looked beautiful. I got there just in time for the program after hustling back from SLC after my bike ride.
I added some pictures from Memorial weekend. Matt and I got to take Daniel's new bike for a spin. It was so nice. We also got to visit with Aunt Lamay as we picked out flowers for the graves. She has a green house and Hadden and Dallas loved the Snap Dragon flowers. Aunt NaDeen is also in the pictures. They are such sweet ladies. They are my dad's only sisters and they have always been so good to me.
Last weekend we did a trail ride down the Muddy River. It was just Matt and I and Riley and Kristina. We had such a good time. I have some video I am trying to post so stay tuned!
Also some postings of Jabin are coming...My camera has been in the process of dying so the May Day picutures didn't turn out very well. Dallas and Jabin both did a great job on their class dance and had a great year of school.

100 miles
My first Century Ride! Pictured above left to right: Brian, me, and Lance. I had a lot of fun even though I got in my second wreck in two weeks after a kid hit a rock and lost control of his bike falling into me. This was only 30 miles in and I was okay so I finished. We started about 7:30 in the morning and I finished about 3:00. We rode 109 miles and I averaged about 17 to 20 miles an hour. They did have a couple of rest stops and they served a great lunch! I have really great co-workers that love to bike and it has been so fun to go on rides with them and learn some bike etiquette and acquire some neat road rash scares :D)
My Little Cowgirl
Hadden is turning five years old! My sweet little Haddy Po is definately getting older. She has always been a happy little girl with the cutest smily dimple face. She has brought so much happiness and laughter into our home and she is so loved. Happy Birthday Haddy! She will be going into all day kindergarten this year. With all my kids in school I am feeling old :(Apr 22, 2009
