camping, fishing,hunting

After camping two weeks ago I ended up leaving my camera in the camp trailer so I missed a lot of things including: The first day of school, Jabin's surgery (right hydrocele repair you can look up to find out more info), and Jabin's 6th Birthday. But, these are a few of our camping pictures. Matt has been archery deer hunting and we go along for the camping and fishing. We have had a great time and will be camping and hunting for the next couple of months which we love to do. Matt didn't get close enough to get one yet but has one more weekend.

The kids love school and their new teachers. Dallas is in 3rd grade in the portable trailers which she calls her own island and she is loving it. Jabin has had a rough start to Kindergarten with double ear infections on the first day and surgery the 2nd week. Today he stayed home with pink eye he picked up camping I guess, but he is doing really well and you wouldn't know he has had these ailments he hasn't slowed down a bit. He is such a boy and he hates all the fuss and attention. Hadden started preschool today and is so excited. She has been talking my ear off about all the rules. She said, "lets say.. I have a belly ache then my teacher will call our moms but if my head hurts or I get a hurt hand then she won't call our moms". She is so funny. She also said over the weekend, "I know your a kid, cause why? You have a mom."

I did make the cake and held it on my lap for almost 2 hours to go to Richfield and then up to our camp at Mill Meadow on the Fish Lake. I let the kids just tear it apart it was fun and I didn't want to keep it in the camper (mouse hazard) :)

I love the layout, your the best buddy ;)

Cass, I will definately look you up when I am in Cedar next summer again. I love keeping in touch on the blogs :) Hopefully I will see you in November :) ;)

Those pics are so cute! Your kids are growing right up. I can't believe Jabin is 6! I love Haddie's comments - she cracks me up! I'm glad Dallas considers the trailer an island - I hope it's a warm island in the winter. . . ;o)

I love the new look! I figured that you have been super busy....it looks like you have been having some fun to! Poor Jabin! He will think school is so easy after he starts feeling better. School has to be better than what he has been going through. Don't you just love the trailor classrooms. They put a kindergarten class in one out here. I was so glad that LeGrand didn't get that one....they don't even have a restroom. Can you just see these little kindergarten kids running to the school in a snowstorm searching for a bathroom! CRAZY! The cake looks GREAT! :O)

That cake is amazing and even more amazing that you balanced it for so long on your lap! You are such a great mom!!
That little Haddie has grown up so much. I remember working out with you at your house in the mornings and you feeding her in her highchair. The crazy thing is that it doesn't seem like that long ago to me.
Jabin is such a handsome little boy (looking more and more like Brad Pitt all the time) too bad he had a rough start of the school year.
How funny that Dallas likes her private little island.
