Dallas has been complaining of not being able to see things far away for quite some time. I kind of brushed this aside (aren't I a great parent) until her teacher suggested we get her eyes checked. Today was her appointment and sure enough she is near sighted. She was soooo excited when the doctor told her she would need glasses. She picked the first pair she tried on and I thought she looked very cute. She had to call her best friend Baylee in Texas first thing. She didn't think her dad showed enough excitement over the phone so she called her grandma even though she is visiting New York right now. I don't think I have ever seen her this happy! Let's hope it lasts.

Dallas' New Glasses

She is so cute! Love the glasses too. I hope it helps. I have a little boy that complains of headaches and says he can't see the words, when we took him to the eye dr. he said we didn't need glasses. I think we just want them really bad.

I just got my first glasses too, but she looks much prettier in hers.
Dallas looks all grown up. I'm glad that she is excited about her new glasses - that way she will take care of them. Miss her tons.
She does look cute, so grown up. Your not a bad mother Shaynes teacher told me he needed glasses too, He always sat in front of the TV real close his Dad said your going to go blind, he thought he was going blind, but he just needed glasses all along..
