One year older and wiser too

Dallas really wanted to spend her birthday with her friend this year having a Harry Potter move marathon. She decided to face her fear of Harry Potter and start reading the books. She loved them and received the movie box set for her birthday. Her friend gave her a Taylor Swift Karaoke CD and they had a blast singing along. She also got a a cruiser bike her dad picked out, a very cute Hurley shirt, scrapbooking, cards and money. She has one more birthday suprise when we go to the Fablehaven book signing!

Dallas has loved muscles since aquiring a taste for them at the buffet's in Vegas so she had muscles and Macaroni Grill Chicken Marsala. Her friend said very politely "They are not my favorite but they're okay." She had the complete Harry Potter menu to include: chocolate frogs, cockroach clusters, licorice wands, acid pops, herbology, fruitology, pumpkin juice, Betsy Bott's every flavor beans, slimy slugs, and caldron cake

Taking a little camp fire break and planning the big Gulch trip at the end of April. We need to get the horses in shape so they can make ride. We had a great time. Badger didn't even have the energy to buck on me after running around the pasture about a dozen times while we were trying to catch him.

The extra horse is Jon's, he is taking the picture. We had a great ride and it was such a beautiful day.

Enjoying the first day of sun and warmth of 2010!

Wow. Where did the time go? I can't believe Miss Dallas is 10 already! I hope she had a special day. Ralaina, you did more than your share of work making that Harry Potter party happen! It looks like a ton of fun. The ride looked great, too. Is that Buster in the background?
