Well the last update was at the
beginning of August, so I'll just start with one of the first events that happened in August. That was when I ,and at the last minute
Hadden, decided to participate in the Farm
Bureau Talent Show. I decided to sing a song by one of my favorite artists, Taylor Swift, called "You Belong With Me."
Hadden just decided to go out on stage and
randomly dance to a song by Alvin and the
Chipmunks. The day of the talent show I decided to go to a friends house instead of finding the CD I needed because I was pretty sure I knew where it was, but boy I was wrong. When I got home all
chaos broke lose in
pursute to find the CD. Thanks to wonder mom we found it and were able to arrive on time. At first i was worried i would have to go up against a bunch of way older people and not have a chance at even 5
th place but, luckily, the whole thing was split up in age groups. I was in the
Intermediate group,
were as Hadden was in the Junior group.
Hadden would be the very first to go on after the
Beginner group, but those people didn't count because they weren't judged and everybody got a trophy no matter how bad they did.[I'm not saying they did bad, I'm just saying if they did do horrible
they would still get a trophy.] Before
Hadden knew it she THOUGHT she was on. She walked out there on stage thinking it was her turn, but all of a sudden a weird song started playing and a group of people backstage started
whispering for
Hadden to get off the stage. Poor
Hadden, she must have been so
embarrassed! She had
gone up on stage and it wasn't even her turn! After
Hadden got off stage and the people who were supposed to go on in the first
place finished their number
Hadden went on, but this time it really was her turn. Her performance was
hilarious!! She didn't have a routine whatsoever! She went out on stage and
danced her little heart out. It was so funny! When it was over she even attempted a cartwheel! I
thought it was pretty good considering the fact that she didn't even have a set routine! I better not make this to long, so in the end Hadden got a trophy and 10$ just because there were so few people in her group. I on the other hand sang my song and messed up horribly. Even though my mom said I did awesome and she was very proud of me. Hey, I scored 10 bucks though!
