We were able to go to the
Demolition Derby thanks to our good friends Jo and
Ricci for getting us tickets. They are such great friends and we had a good time with some unexpected adventures.. During breaks between heats they did the traditional greased pig chase and then the adults chase a steer that has money tied on his horn I guess. It was CRAZY. Somehow Matt got talked into doing it with the Strickland boys. It was quite the show and reminded me of the bull run. Matt didn't have a chance in his boots with those
youngsters in their tennis shoes. The steer somehow got out of the arena and turned lose out in the carnival. Cody had a hold of it out there and got drug through some rocks but I guess a kid had already snagged the money. It was quite exciting.

Matt and Cody getting ready to go.

Our good friend and neighbor JD Fox!! He does such a great job and got the crowd
dancin' to the music as he gave out
Heber Railroad tickets. Dallas ended up with 4 tickets and someone sitting by us gave us
theirs because they didn't think they would use them.
Jabin,
Hadden, P.J. and Dallas are at the fence
chattin' with.

All the kids were excited for the grease pig chase. I had
Jabin take off his shirt because it was his new white school shirt.
Haddy actually had the rabbit, oh ya, there was rabbits too, but a boy actually yanked it out of her hands. Very mean.

Harmonie getting ready for the perfect shot.
